This is a very reliable 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Long Bed 4WD HD , with only 54,947 miles.
This Ram has been maintained really well, while being driven and all the repairs that were suggested were done!
Within the last couple days I had the vehicle inspected by an ASE certified repair facility. The repair facility that I take all my vehicles to, has been working on vehicles for over 25 years and I feel they are the best in this town. They are extremely good and all my vehicles go to them for the inspection and reconditioning. They are of course ASE certified and they can do anything from oil changes to rebuilding engines.
They have inspected it and told me it’s a great vehicle. They’ve looked it over and took it for a test drive, it has a set of “Brand New tires, did not need brakes, they were fine, and the engine and transmission did not have any mechanical issues. They also checked the fluid level and condition transmission, it was full and clean. He replaced the engine oil and filter. He assured me that this vehicle has been taken extremely well care of and it shows, inside and out!
There are absolutely no mechanical issues with this Dodge Ram, it drives wonderful, and I am including a nationwide warranty with this purchase that is free of charge to you. This is a $0 deductible warranty good at any repair facility in the U.S, and you may extend the warranty up to 100,000 miles and could cover vertically the whole car, which would certainly put anyone’s mind at ease. We try to make buying here a worry free and simple process.
Mechanical
I personally drive all the vehicles I sell for a few days, it gives me a good idea on how they run and drive. I drove this one for about a week and was it every fun. It’s very zippy and runs and drives great, I loved it. I put around 100 miles on and there were no abnormal noises in the drive train, and it handles as well in town as it did on the open road. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It starts right up every morning and idles very smooth when in park. This Ram runs smooth without any hesitation or jerking. The transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues, it doesn't "clunk" or shift in to gear hard. Highway passing gear is also great with no abnormal "clunk" or hesitation.
There are no issues with this vehicle at all and I wouldn't hesitate to take it to Florida and back, and back again, Ice Cold Air, it’s that nice!
If you look around on any other site that sells vehicles, you will see that these Dodge Ram engines will last very long time. A lot of these go more than 300.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 300,000 plus miles range still running great. This one has only 54,947 miles so it still has a lot of life left.
The Chrysler Corporation has a great reputation for durability with their engines, they build great vehicles and will last you a long time with regular maintenance
Electrical
The AC and heat works great, cruise control works, power windows work, power door locks work and so does the radio. There are no electrical issues with this Car.
Exterior / Interior
This vehicle was well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. This Dodge Ram is a 1-owner has a Clean Carfax that shows No Accidents. The overall paint condition is in excellent shape with no clear coat issues. The interior is very clean as well, there are no spots on the seats or carpet, it is really clean and nice.
