This is a very reliable 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser Touring, with only 85,359 miles. The vehicle has averaged 14226 miles per year considering most drivers put 18,000 miles per year on a vehicle.
This Chrysler Pt Cruiser, has been maintained really well, while being driven and all the repairs that were suggested were done!
Within the last couple days I had the vehicle inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. The repair facility that I take all my vehicles to, has been working on vehicles for over 25 years and I feel they are the best in this town. They are extremely good and all my vehicles go to them for the inspection and reconditioning. They are of course ASE certified and they can do anything from oil changes to rebuilding engines.
They have inspected it and told me it’s a great vehicle. They’ve looked it over and took it for a test drive, it has a set of fairly “New tires,” did not need brakes, they were fine, and the engine and transmission did not have any mechanical issues. They also checked the fluid level and condition transmission, it was full and clean. He replaced the engine oil and filter.
There are absolutely no mechanical issues with this Chrysler Pt Cruiser, and I am including a National wide warranty at no additional cost. This is a $0 deductible warranty good at any repair facility in the U.S.
Mechanical
I personally drive all the vehicles I sell for a few days, it gives me a good idea on how they run and drive. I drove this one for about a week and was it every fun. It’s very zippy and runs and drives great, I loved it. I put around 90 miles on and there were no abnormal noises in the drive train, and it handles as well in town as it did on the open road. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It starts right up every morning and idles very smooth when in park. This Pt accelerates smooth without any hesitation or jerking. The transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues, it doesn't "clunk" or shift in to gear hard. Highway passing gear is also great with no abnormal "clunk" or hesitation.
There are no issues with this vehicle at all and I wouldn't hesitate to take it to Florida and back.
If you look around on any other site that sells vehicles, you will see that these Pt engines will last very long time. A lot of these go more than 300.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 300,000 plus miles range still running great. This one has only 85,359 miles so it still has a lot of life left.
Chrysler has a great reputation for durability with their engines, they are great vehicles and will last you a long time with regular maintenance
Electrical
The AC and heat works great, cruise control works, power windows work, power door locks work and so does the radio. There are no electrical issues with this Car.
Exterior / Interior
This vehicle was well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. The overall paint condition is in excellent shape with no clear coat issues. The interior is very clean as well, there are no spots on the seats or carpet, it is really clean and nice.
