Thanks for looking at my “One Owner 1999 Grand Marquis LS”
Please take a few minutes and read this description, I have included detailed information about this “Grand Marquis” mechanical, interior and exterior condition.
I don`t like auctions or site’s that just say "Great car, looks new inside and out, needs nothing, perfect top to bottom etc etc....", I like ALOT of information on a car and I am going to give you as much information and description as I can about this vehicle, hopefully I won’t bore you with all the typing. I`m going to include a link with Lots of Pictures. I just want to give you a lot of information and hope you feel comfortable bidding on this car. Although I`m not a mechanic, i have been around a lot of cars in my life and can give you a good explanation of the vehicle.
This really is and extra nice Grand Marquis LS; it has 52,037 Miles on it.
Within the last 10 miles my mechanic replaced the engine oil and filter, put on 4 new tires, and all the fluids have been topped off and he performed a good 102 Point inspection of this Grand Marquis LS. He told me it’s a very solid with good suspension, and brakes.
Mechanically
This “Grand Marquis LS” does not have any oil leaks, it doesn`t leave any drops of oil on the ground and it does not burn any oil. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It idles very smooth when in park and accelerates without any hesitation or jerking. These Mercury engines with a last a very long time, in fact with regular maintenance it will almost out last you, I have seen these motors do well over 300,000 miles and more, so if you continue the good maintenance, you will get a lot of miles out of this “Grand Marquis”. The transmission shifts smooth without any issues, it doesn`t clunk or shift in to gear hard. Highway passing gear is also great without any abnormal "jerking". There are no mechanical issues with this vehicle. At highway speeds this vehicle drives great with no abnormal drive train noises. There are no vibrations at 60 or 70 mph, I wouldn`t hesitate to drive this vehicle on any long trip, in fact it would be most enjoyable.
Electrical
The air and heat works great and all the controls works just like it should. The air works great, really cold, just like it should, Radio and CD work and so does the power seats. There are no mechanical issues with this vehicle.
Exterior
This “Grand Marquis LS” was well cared for by the previous owner, in fact this Grand Marquis LS was a 1-Owner Vehicle, and has a clean “Carfax history” and it’s in excellent shape and it definitely shows. The over all paint condition is very good for a 10 year old vehicle. The paint is very glossy and free of any fading or clear coat issues.
Interior
The interior is very clean, the seats and carpet are exceptionally clean for the age. The head liner is free of any stains. The driver seat does not have any tears, stains or rips like most 10 year old vehicles do and there are no abnormal odors in the car. I have a lot of close up pictures of the seats and carpet so you can get a good idea of the condition. “THIS VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE A SUNROOF”!
I`m very picky, maybe too picky but I tried to put myself in a buyer`s position and I would like to know everything not just a few outside photos. I buy a lot of cars and sometimes I wish people were more honest when it comes to describing the mechanical and cosmetic condition of their cars.
I have taken A LOT of photos of this “Mercury Grand Marquis LS” and photos of every flaw that I can see so that you can get an accurate idea of the condition. When I buy a car I would rather have a ton of information than very little. The cosmetic flaws are very minimal but they are there and I feel it is necessary to show you all around the vehicle and just not the "good side". But it is a 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis LS, and not a 2010 so there are some minor in perfections and I hope I have detailed everything to your satisfaction. To sum it up, it’s in really great condition considering the age, compared to most 10 Year Old “Mercury Grand Marquis LS’s” out there, but this one is in excellent condition.

We will collect INDIANA sales tax (7%) and our Indiana Doc Fee of $199.00 and provide you with form ST-108. This form serves as proof that you have paid sales tax when you go to your local license branch to register the vehicle.
